7 Days Gorilla - Birding Safari Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival for Uganda Mountain Gorilla and Birdwatching Tour

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our expert birding and wildlife guide and transferred to your hotel. If time permits, enjoy birding around the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where highlights include the Orange Weaver, African Grey Parrot, and Great Blue Turaco. This introduction sets the tone for the exciting adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight in Entebbe.

 

Day 2: Birding Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart from Entebbe and embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in western Uganda, with birding stops en route. Look out for savannah and forest edge species such as the Black-headed Gonolek, Grey Crowned Crane, and Ross’s Turaco. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and settle in. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Bwindi.

 

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Birding in Bwindi

Begin your day with an early breakfast before heading out for the highlight of the safari—gorilla trekking.
