Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival for Birdwatching in Uganda – Savannah Birding Safari Begins
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your accommodation. After settling in, enjoy an orientation and briefing on the upcoming birdwatching adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you may have a chance for a short birdwatching excursion around Entebbe, known for its lush gardens and birdlife, including species like the Gray Crowned Crane.

Day 2: Birdwatching Tour to Mabamba Swamps
Start the day with a trip to Mabamba Swamps, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Mabamba is a prime spot for birdwatching, especially for the rare and iconic Shoebill Stork.
